Training Tip - Just Change

Training Tip - Just Change

Just change. Your dog is ready to let go of the past. You need to do the same. When we start teaching new clients about Dog Psychology, they typically start feeling bad/guilty about the relationship they’ve created with their dog. It’s totally normal/natural to have those feelings. We let them go through those emotions and talk to them about why they’re feeling that way. But ultimately we ask them to throw a quick pity party and move on because their dog is ready to do the same! We can’t change the past. We can only get better and move forward. You can’t go back and not eat all of those enchiladas. But you CAN start eating better and working out today! So take the same approach with your dog.

They are ready (now) to make changes that lead to a happier more balanced life. But it’s your job to lead them into that new life. They can’t do it alone. Our challenge for you today is to let go of the guilt - let go of the past. Make the necessary changes and move forward with creating a healthy, balanced relationship with your dog...and maybe some people in your life too. 😜
